Ooks come from behind to beat Thunder, finish regular season 12-0

SHERWOOD PARK, Alta. - The NAIT Ooks men's soccer team came from behind to defeat Concordia Thunder 2-1 on Sunday afternoon at Emerald Hills Sports Pavillion. 

The Concordia Thunder came out hot to strike first, as Samuel Kohan scored in the 10th minute to give his team a 1-0 lead early. Isaac Ayolade responded for the Ooks in the 25th minute to tie the game. Abraham Jones then found the back of the net ten minutes later to put the Ooks up 2-1 at halftime. Both teams battled in the second half, amounting to no goals, giving NAIT the win. 

With the win, the Ooks finish the regular season undefeated with a record of 12-0. Next is the ACAC Championship, which is being hosted by NAIT at Emerald Hills Sports Pavillion in Sherwood Park next weekend. The Ooks will receive a bye to the semi-final due to their first-place finish in the ACAC North Division.
