ACAC North Coach of the Year, Carole Holt's NAIT Ooks' captured the conference title in Alberta with a thrilling 3-2 win over the Concordia Thunder in the ACAC Championship match. The Ooks finished the regular season with an 11-1 record to finish first in the ACAC North Division. Leading the charge for the Ooks is ACAC Player of the Year Marissa Webb. The Dynamiques de Sainte-Foy will represent the RSEQ as a wildcard team. Sainte-Foy was shutout 2-0 by the defending CCAA National Champion Champlain Cavaliers in the conference final. She went on to say, "We are focusing on the things we can control. We had a very good week of training as we head into the competition. We are ready to go and very much looking forward to representing our program, institution, and the ACAC this week".

Carole has also produced six ACAC Player of the Year award winners. During that time Ooks have a 75-5-2 regular-season record.
