After a successful weekend tournament, that included a second-place finish in men’s singles play and first in the men’s double category, Smit Patel looks ahead to nationals with confidence. “In his last inter-provincial ACAC tournament, Smit displayed what a valuable player he has been this last season and will be to the team dynamic next year. He has almost certainly secured his spot to qualify for nationals in a least one of the three events, and he's sure to be one to follow at the national’s competition” said head coach Sinead Cheah. Smit is a first-year Digital Media and IT student from Edmonton, Alberta.
