Congratulations to the NAIT Ooks men's hockey team on advancing to the playoff semifinals, where they will face the SAIT Trojans. 

With the semifinals fast approaching and anticipation building, Scott Fellnermayr, head coach of the NAIT Ooks men's hockey team, believes the focus isn't on making major adjustments. With only a few days remaining before puck drop, his confidence lies in the preparation already put in and trusting the team's established game plan. 

"We keep things the same for the most part. As a coaching staff, we make sure the boys don't get complacent with the success we've had, and we remember the things that got us to where we are", said Coach Fellnermayr emphasizing that the group has remained composed and disciplined throughout their preparation, carrying a calm, focused mindset into every practice leading up to the matchup.

Getting past the Concordia Thunder this past weekend, in comfortable fashion, the Ooks will have a tough task ahead of them facing the #2 seed in the SAIT Trojans and being - "fresh and before that they beat the #1 team RDP in a convincing 5-2 win", Coach Fellnermayr stated. But with consistent offence and pressure, Fellnermayr believes they will get the job done. 

"I expect us to have success when we keep forechecking hard and staying on the right side of the puck", he expressed. 

The NAIT Ooks men's hockey team are set to clash with the SAIT Trojans on March 6th in what promises to be a hard-fought semifinal battle. With both teams earning their place, it's shaping up to be a thrilling matchup. Go Ooks!
