BUILDING A LEGACY OF EXCELLENCE
For 16 seasons, Graham Wood was the driving force behind the success of the NAIT Ooks men's soccer program, establishing a culture of excellence, sportsmanship and competitive success that left a lasting impact on NAIT Athletics.
Under Wood's leadership, the Ooks became one of the top programs in the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference, capturing eight ACAC medals and three CCAA national medals. His commitment to developing student-athletes both on and off the field earned widespread respect throughout the collegiate soccer community.
Wood's accomplishments were recognized with three ACAC Coach of the Year awards and the prestigious CCAA Coach of the Year honour in 2005. His teams were also the recipients of two ACAC Fair Play Awards, reflecting his belief that success should be achieved with integrity, respect and sportsmanship. Through his leadership and dedication, Graham Wood helped shape generations of Ooks student-athletes and established a legacy that continues to influence the program today.
