Ooks Drop A Close One To Thunder
Edmonton, AB. – 5th year forward Brady MacKay scored a game-high 22 points Friday afternoon at NAIT. It was not enough, however as the NAIT Ooks fell just short of the Concordia Thunder 78-74 in ACAC men's basketball action.
It was a back a forth battle all game long, with both teams having the lead several times. Mike Malin led the Thunder with 20 points in the contest.
With the loss, the Ooks begin the season with a 0-1 record, while the Thunder move to 1-0. NAIT's next game is Saturday, October 14th when they head to Concordia for a rematch at 8 pm.
