Edmonton, AB - 2nd year guard Kennedy George scored a team-high 23 points and 15 rebounds as the NAIT Ooks topped the Lakeland Rustlers 78-75 in ACAC men's basketball action Saturday night at NAIT Gymnasium.
Terrel Murdaugh led the Rustlers with 18 points and Ricardo Joseph with 12 rebounds.
After a tough battle last night between the Ooks and Rustlers where the Rustlers came back and won the game with 2 free throws from Murdaugh. The Ooks were able to obtain the win tonight on another tight game. The Ooks dominated on the glass 48-37.
With this win the Ooks record improves to 3-3, while the Rustlers goes to 4-2. NAIT's next game is on the road this coming Friday, where they go visit the Grande Praire Wolves for a weekend series.
