Edmonton, AB - Taran Kumar's goal in the 60th minute proved to be the winner as the NAIT Ooks defeated the Keyano Huskies 2-1 in ACAC men's soccer action Saturday at NAIT.
The Ooks goals were scored in the 17th and 60th minute by Jose Oscar Miranda Ruiz and Taran Kumar, respectively, while Pedro Bianchi replied in a losing cause for the Huskies in the 40th minute.
Overall, the Ooks outshot the Huskies by 15-10 (7-2 shots on net).
With this win, NAIT improves to 8-1 and are now tied with the Keyano Huskies who are 8-1 as well in the North Division of the ACAC. The Ooks next match is against the Thunder at Concordia, Sunday, October 22nd at 2:00pm.
