Ooks Open Season With A Win Over Thunder
EDMONTON, AB. – Jordan Telisk recorded a game-high 15 kills while scoring 20 points as the NAIT Ooks women's volleyball team earned a 3rd set victory ( 26-24,25-12,25-20) over the Concordia Thunder Friday night at Concordia.
Mitch Lewington added 24 assists which got him named Player Of The Game for the Ooks in a winning cause. Keenan Forstey led the Thunder with seven kills, nine digs, and ten points.
With the win, the Ooks open the season 1-0 while the Thunder falls to 0-1. The two teams will face each other again on Saturday afternoon in the NAIT Gymnasium at 3:00 pm.
