Edmonton, AB - Cole Burkart recorded a game-high 13 kills and scored 17 points as the NAIT Ooks men's volleyball team earned a 3-0 set victory (25-22, 25,21 and 25-18) over the Lakeland Rustlers Friday night at the NAIT Gymnasium.
Mitch Lewington added 38 assists and was also the top defender with 7 digs in a winning cause for the Ooks. Matt Peck led the Rustlers with 6 kills, 5 digs and 7 points.
With this win the Ooks record improves to 3-2, while the Rustlers go to 1-4 in the regular season. NAIT's next game is Saturday night when they go on the road and visit the Rustlers for a rematch of the weekend series at 8:00pm.
