EDMONTON, ALTA. – The NAIT Ooks defeated the Concordia Thunder 3-0 in ACAC men's volleyball action on Saturday night in the NAIT Gymnasium.
The NAIT Ooks grabbed the momentum early, as they took the first set 25-19. Concordia showed life in the second set, but it was the Ooks who took it 27-25 in extra points. The third set was all NAIT again, as the home team took it 25-19 taking the set and match, completing the weekend sweep.
"We played well all weekend. We still have things to work on, but there were definitely some positives to take away," said NAIT head coach, Doug Anton.

The Big Picture
With this win, the NAIT Ooks improve to 14-6 and tied for second place in the ACAC north division with the Augustana Vikings. The Concordia Thunder fall to 3-19 and tied for sixth.
What's Next?
The NAIT Ooks will now head to the Grande Prairie next weekend to take on the GPRC Wolves. The Concordia Thunder will also travel north; they are headed to Ft.McMurray to take on the Keyano Huskies.
