FORT MCMURRAY, AB. – Karly Kupka recorded ten kills and scored a game-high 14 points as the NAIT Ooks women's volleyball team earned a 3rd set victory ( 25-22,25-22,25-23) over the Keyano Huskies Friday night at Keyano College.
Kayleigh Fisk added eight kills while Lauren Smith was the top player on defense with 16 digs in a winning cause for the Ooks. Danya Nieman led the Huskies with nine kills and 15 digs.
With the win, the Ooks improve to 3-0 while the Huskies fall to 1-2. The two teams will face each other again on Saturday afternoon at Keyano College at 1:00 pm.
