Edmonton, AB - Hannah Gorgichuk recorded a game-high 13 kills and scored 17 points as the NAIT Ooks women's volleyball team earned a 3-1 set victory (25-15, 22-25, 25-19, 25-20) over the Grande Prairie Wolves Friday night at the NAIT Gymnasium.
Jamie Bain added 40 assists while Lauren Smith was the top player on defence with 18 digs in a winning cause for the Ooks. Jaden Cross led the Wolves with 18 kills, 12 digs and 1 block.
With this win the Ooks record improve to 5-2, while the Wolves goes to 2-5. The rematch will take place tomorrow Saturday at 1:00pm in NAIT's Gymnasium.
