Edmonton, AB - Karly Kupka recorded a game-high 13 kills and scored 14 points as the NAIT Ooks women's volleyball team earned a 3-0 set victory (25-21, 25-10, 25-23) over the Augustana Vikings on Friday night at the NAIT Gymnasium.
Jamie Bain added 31 assists while Lauren Smith was the top player on defence with 10 digs in a winning cause for the Ooks. Rae Metrunec led the way for the Vikings with 10 kills, 3 digs and 1 block.
With this win the Ooks record improves to 8-5, while the Vikings goes to 5-8. Rematch of the weekend series will take place tomorrow Saturday December 2nd in Camrose at 6:00pm.
